HARMONI CYMRU CEASES TRADING ON 4 JULY 2023

 

Since 2018, Harmoni Cymru CIC has worked in hospitals across South Wales to encourage social interaction, improve ward environments and to provide opportunities for the use of music as a tool within care.

 

The Directors of Harmoni Cymru are still committed to this cause and are each individually continuing to work in a variety of settings for the benefit of patients.

 

Regrettably, however, the Directors have decided that Harmoni Cymru, as a Community Interest Company, is no longer the appropriate legal framework to facilitate this important work. The Directors no longer feel that the governance, legal and financial obligations of operating a CIC are manageable or appropriate for the work that we do.

 

For this reason, with regret, Harmoni Cymru CIC ceased trading on 4 July 2023. It will apply for voluntary strike off from Companies House by the end of 2023.

 

Harmoni Cymru remains financially solvent and all outstanding bills have been paid. Any potential outstanding creditors should contact Harmoni Cymru as soon as possible before 24th October 2023, at which point the company’s final accounts will be produced.
