MUSIC THERAPY
'Music plays an important role in our everyday lives. It can be exciting or calming, joyful or poignant, can stir memories and powerfully resonate with our feelings, helping us to express them and to communicate with others' - British Association of Music Therapy
Music Therapy is a HCPC registered psychological intervention that uses musical components and tools to build a therapeutic relationship to work towards a client's emotional or physical goals. No prior musical experience is required to take part in a music therapy session.

During music therapy, a client may explore a wide range of tools with a therapist including improvisation, pre-composed music, vocal work and songwriting. Sessions can be offered on a one-to-one or group basis.
